Since joining MCA Music Publishing as an A&R Scout in 1988, Mike has been sketching the musicians he has spent his lifetime watching. He has since worked at EMI Publishing, Columbia Records, Mercury Records, Warner/Chappell Music, and is currently the Global President of Downtown Publishing. In 2009 he staged an exhibition of prints made from these drawings at Richard Goodall Gallery in Manchester, which was followed up in 2011 with a comprehensive show of his paintings, light boxes and prints at Somerset House. A further exhibition of the work was staged at Metropolis Group studios.
