Liam Leslie is a photographer based in London. His works sits at the border between documentary and fine art, focusing on cities and urban environments. His bodies of work include A Ribbon In Space, a series of stark black and white images documenting the MAXXI museum in Rome designed by Zaha Hadid, They tore down the real city and put up a fake one, comprising a group of 35 photographs highlighting the destruction of traditional Hutong homes in Beijing and This is Another Place documenting the retail landscape of London’s Bond Street. His work has been widely exhibited across the UK, with solo shows at Velorose Gallery in London and The Lighthouse, Scotland’s Centre of Architecture and Design as well as group exhibitions at Four Corners, Lethaby Gallery, Argentea Gallery and the Royal Academy of Art.
