After graduating at the Willem De Kooning Academy, Gideon instantly started working in the music business as a booker and promoter. The following years, he promoted acts like Lady Gaga, Tame Impala, BTS, Arctic Monkeys, Bruno Mars, One Direction, Royal Blood and Imagine Dragons. To name but a few. Besides promoting, Gideon is responsible for the domestic division at Mojo Concerts. Together with John van Luyn he hosts the podcast ‘Stokpraatjes’. In 2020 he started Outliner Records, started painting again and presented his works in the arenas of Rotterdam Ahoy and Ziggo Dome.
